A private residence with a sweeping view of the American River in Carmichael, California, was the romantic setting for Sarah Elizabeth & Aurel's wedding. With the river being the perfect backdrop for exchanging vows, we came up with a new take on the very popular floral arch – an "open arch" concept. Three tiered floral arrangements on either side of the altar framed an unobstructed view of the river in the center. The florals also provided a a soft backdrop for close-ups pho
Alicia and Andrew said their "I Dos" at the Victorian-era Vizcaya Mansion and Pavilion, located in midtown Sacramento. A vintage-inspired color palette of pale pink, ivory and soft greens with touches of gold and dusty blue felt right at home at the historical venue and set the tone for the romantic wedding. The bouquets featured peony, roses, ferns and eucalyptus. Beautiful photos taken in the onsite landscaped gardens were captured by Jessica Roman Photography. This dress!
Here's a sneak peek of a bright and fun wedding we did, that was held in the outdoor courtyard at The Firehouse Restaurant in Old Sacramento. The look was super colorful and charming, just like the bride and groom! We incorporated mums, roses, and shooting billy ball florals in orange, magenta and pink, with lots of greenery. The look is playful and happy with pops of bright color. Photos by Visual Impact Design. The simple wooden ceremony arch (above) was dressed up with lar
Not only did Kimberly and Kevin catch each other's hearts, but their wedding captured the essence of "Rustic Elegance." They held their festivities at the Blue Goose Event Center, a historic fruit shed, in the quaint town of Loomis, California, nestled at the base of the Sierra Nevada foothills. The wooden barn-like building with galvanized tin walls provided the "rustic," while the gorgeous gowns, florals and soft wedding color palette added the "elegance." Thanks to Angeli
Welcome to Katie & Luke's summer wedding at Catta Verdera. So much to love about this wedding! Nestled at the base of the Sierra Nevada foothills, the country club – featuring Spanish style architecture with arches, courtyards and fountains – provided a charming setting for their outdoor summer wedding. We absolutely adore the bridesmaids' sparkling midnight blue dresses, which were a lovely compliment to the earth-tone colored buildings, and the perfect backdrop for their vi

We had fun creating Lessa and Paul's detailed floral designs; their candy colored wedding palette reminding us of our favorite Jelly Belly jelly beans! This is what they mean when they say "Don't be afraid of color!" A beautiful combination of saturated pinks, oranges and yellows set the tone for their cheerful and vibrant affair. Pops of green added a fun touch, especially in the groom's and groomsmen's trousers (and another fun surprise in the form of the bride's wedding sh
