Bright and Fun Wedding at The Firehouse Restaurant

Here's a sneak peek of a bright and fun wedding we did, that was held in the outdoor courtyard at The Firehouse Restaurant in Old Sacramento. The look was super colorful and charming, just like the bride and groom! We incorporated mums, roses, and shooting billy ball florals in orange, magenta and pink, with lots of greenery. The look is playful and happy with pops of bright color.

The simple wooden ceremony arch (above) was dressed up with large swags of colorful florals in each corner. The centerpieces (below) were comprised of a collection of funky and eclectic vases and bottles in various colors, with pretty flowers and greenery, that tied into the ceremony arch.
The bright color palette works so well with the outdoor courtyard. I especially like how the simple wooden arch was kept understated and then brought to life with the larger floral arrangements in each corner. The mix of colorful vases and greenery for the centerpieces also gives it a fun, personal feel without looking too coordinated.
It’s a good reminder that an outdoor wedding doesn’t need an elaborate setup to look beautiful. A well-chosen venue, clean surroundings, and thoughtful details can make a huge difference.
