Fairytale Romance in Sonora: An Enchanted Wedding

Fairytale romance was the theme of Delanie and Josh's charming wedding. The perfect location for their ceremony and reception was found at the bed & breakfast, Union Hill Inn in Sonora, California. According to their wedding photographers, Monocle Project, the venue, "is set up in a way that is a maze of secret gardens mixed in with private ponds, grand foliage, and surrounded by a forest that reminded us of being back in Scotland. It was the perfect place for a true fairytale wedding." We agree and think it made for enchanting photos indeed.

We embellished Delanie and Josh's fairytale charm with florals in a color palette of blush, white, and a touch of pink. The bridesmaids carried poufy bouquets of heavenly baby's breath and hydrangea, while the bride (a real-life Disney World princess), carried a classic, round bridal bouquet that included blooms of dahlia, hydrangea, lisianthus, freesia, ranunculus and peony, with a few carefully placed crystals for sparkle. Josh and his groomsmen sported floral boutonnieres accented with wine corks from Josh Cellars (get it?).

The romantic theme was carried throughout with florals and greenery, from the garland draped on the stone fireplace mantel at the ceremony in the rustic Wedding Chapel, to the sprigs of baby's breath on each guest's place setting at the reception. This romantic wedding included touches of playful, vintage fun as well. Vintage surprise came in the form of a classic car and vinyl records. Instead of a book, guests signed vinyl in metallic ink as a "record" of their attendance, and the bride and groom gave out vinyl records as favors.

Enjoy these beautiful photos by Monocle Project, and whatever you do, do not miss Delanie and Josh's adorable fur-baby "Best Dog", complete with a floral collar of baby's breath!

The ceremony mantle was draped with a romantic eucalyptus garland, that included a mix of florals tucked in, including roses, dahlia and hydrangea.

We think floral collars should be an every day look, don't you?
