Melodic romantic Italian arias swirled in our heads while we designed Katherine and John's rustic wine country wedding flowers, transporting us to Tuscany – or rather California's Tuscany – picturesque St. Helena. The ceremony was held at St. Helena Catholic Church, with an elegant, open air reception following at Italian restaurant, Tra Vigne. We're certain you'll gush over these amazing photos by Janae Shields Photography just like we did!
Katherine and John's wedding invitation set the tone and color palette of their Big Day with hues reflecting the food and wines of the region in blush, light sage, butter lemon, light tangerine and white.
Katherine's bridal bouquet was composed of hydrangea, several rose varieties including garden roses, peony, freesia, dahlia, lisianthus, ranunculus, scabiosa and accents of olive and rosemary sprigs.
The bridesmaids carried bouquets of blush peony, roses, stock, ranunculus and hydrangea with olive greens around the collar.

Floral decor at the church included pew flowers gathered in white rustic wood buckets filled with roses, football mums, olive, rosemary and a touch of yellow feverfew.
At the reception a large floral and branch arrangement in a rustic stone urn adorned the gift and favor table, welcoming guests.
Cocktail hour featured floral designs incorporating black olives, olive branches, grapes, apricots and peony.
Bouquets were stored and displayed in vases down center of the head table, with casual placement of grapes, olive branches, apricots and rose blossoms at the base. Bouquet stems were wrapped in a buttercream lemon satin ribbon with an overlay of a sheer satin trimmed ribbon.
Centerpieces of pretty blooms in small stone urns graced the guests' dining tables, with rustic wooden table number plaques.
