Love is Sweet! Country Romance at the Willow Ballroom

We love a country romantic wedding, and this one was picture perfect, right down to the bride's blue cowboy boots! Callie and Trever tied the knot at The Willow Ballroom, a charming rustic elegant venue located along the Sacramento River, just 15 miles south of downtown Sacramento. Weddings by Scott and Dana were on hand to photograph this beautiful day.

Lace, antiques, wood, silver and a some sparkle mingled effortlessly with the romantic seasonal flowers Callie chose to use in the bouquets, boutonnieres, ceremony and reception decor: garden style roses, dahlia, peony, hydrangea, ranunculus, freesia, carnations, anemone, delphinium, football mums, baby's breath, stock blossom, scabiosa, berries, and eucalyptus and olive greens. The florals were in soft tones of blush, pink, peach, cream and white.

All the bridesmaids wore cowboy boots, with the bride's being her "something blue."

The cake table featured an unusual item – a hatchet. Yes, an ax! Turns out it has something to do with the groom's job (fireman), so what better tool to cut the cake with?
